  • Ganga Boat Ride and Varanasi Ghat Walks

    Start your day with a boat ride at dawn and witness the heavenly beauty of the pious Ghats and the delightful ambience of Varanasi. Behold the captivating beauty of the vicinity when the first rays of the sun touch the sacred lands of this holy city. Experience The Bhog Aarti at Lord Shiva Temple. The architecture of the temple is noteworthy and is also known as the Golden Temple, because of the gold used in the making of the tall spire and the dome. All devoted Hindus aspire to visit this site once before they die, for they believe that liberation from worldly thing can be achieved here. Visit Gyanvapi mosque constructed by the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb after he demolished the original Kashi Vishwanath temple at the site. The remnants of the Hindu temple can be seen on the walls of the Gyanvapi mosque. Notice the old Hindu temple wall mixed into the mosque Lunch at a local place. Head towards Dashaswamedh Ghat. Come twilight, and the Ghat cannot be passed unnoticed as colourful umbrellas shelter the area and Pandits get ready with enormous, multi-tiered brass oil lamps and various offerings. The five Pandits who orchestrate the Aarti start to blow conch shells to mark the beginning. With the amount of work and enthusiasm that is put into the Aarti, it is hard to imagine that the same rite of worship takes place every day. End the day with the delicious dinner at the resort while you narrate your experiences with the fellow travellers.

    Wake up and leave for Ramnagar Visit. This lofty and stately 18th-century Ramnagar Fort is situated on the bank of the Ganga river opposite to the Tulsi Ghat at a distance of 14 Km from Varanasi. This sandstone fort was built by Kashi Naresh Raja Balwant Singh in the year 1750. The most attractive thing which makes this crumbling, beautiful and mesmerizing is to watch the sunset over the Ganga river from here. Take a stroll and find a vast collection of imperial things like gold & silver palanquins, a huge collection of vintage cars, royal costumes, ivory work, armour, guns, furniture, Mughal miniatures, swords, sedan chairs, etc in the Ramnagar Museum. Head back towards the ghats of Varanasi and Indulge in the Indian lunch while basking in the serene surroundings of Ganges. Visit Nepali Mandir ? a replica of the Pashupatinath ?temple in Kathmandu in the evening. It was built by the King of Nepal in Nepali style of architecture. The temple has exquisite woodwork that displays the craftsmanship of Nepali workers. These workers were brought here especially for the construction of this temple. Post that just leisure stroll in the streets of Varanasi.
