    In and around RishikeshAfter breakfast, depart for Rishikesh and en route stop to visit an ashram where discourses on Hindu religious text can be heard. Afterwards, proceed to your hotel in Rishikesh and check in. Later in the afternoon, visit? Lakshman Jhula, a hanging bridge over the River Ganges, one of the most famous spot in Rishikesh. According to Indian mythology, Lakshman, the younger brother of Lord Rama crossed the Ganga with the help of a hanging bridge made of jute. The bridge offers impressive views of the River Ganges as it criss-crosses its way down to Haridwar. Also visit Bharat Mandir, the oldest temple in Rishikesh, near the Triveni Ghat.
