Normally the flights land at Delhi in the night or in the evening. You will be greeted at the airport by our representative who will take you to your respective hotel. You will be given a detailed description of your tour along with the relevant documents for the tour.
After breakfast, you will meet your guide for the Delhi tour and we shall start our Delhi tour with the visit of Jama Masjid. After lunch, we will show you the Lutyen?s New Delhi. Architect Lutyen?s designed the city of New Delhi splendid with its huge Bungalows and wide straight roads. The roads are lined up with huge fruit-bearing trees. You will see the Rashtrapati Bhavan which was known as Viceroy Lodge, the house of the British Viceroy in India, this is a massive structure on top of a small hill called Raisina hill. The India Gate on the other side of Rajpath-(the road from Rashtrapati Bhavan to India gate) was built in the memory of those Indian soldiers who laid their lives in world war 1.In the evening your guide will show you Gurudwara Bangla Sahib ?A Sikh temple built in memory of the sixth master Guru Harkishen. He is known as a spiritual healer who healed Delhi from the epidemic of chicken pox. Attend the evening prayer and experience the working of the community kitchen where hundreds of devotees eat regardless of caste or creed. Vegetarian food is prepared in this community kitchen. We start our day with another world heritage monument in Delhi- Humaon?s Tomb is a beautiful architecture much in resemblance to the famous Tajmahal, The mother of famous king Akbar made this monument in memory of her husband Humaon(1562 AD). After the visit to this monument, you can avail an opportunity to ride Delhi metro. The Delhi metro is a modern intracity train service covering almost entire Delhi.Y ou will alight from the Delhi metro at a station very near to kutub minaar, this minaret still stands tall (239 feet) built in 1193 AD during the Sultanate period. There is an iron pillar in the complex supposedly dating back to King Ashoka?s time. The pillar till date has not rusted and is an excellent example of the metallurgy of ancient India. Today rise up early as you have an early morning date with the monument of love. The Tajmahal looks beautiful with the first rays of the rising sun. The Tajmahal was built by Mughal emperor Shahjahan(1653AD) For his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal, surrounded by the gardens of paradise this monument will surely take you to a surreal world. Later after breakfast, you will start your tour of the Agra city with a visit to Agra Fort. This is a huge structure made from red sandstone and dates back to Mughal emperor Akbar(1565AD) There are series of palaces inside made by the respective Mughal emperors bearing different architectural styles-Deewan e aam, Deewan e Khas, Khaas Mahal, Musamman Burj etc. Lunch will be at a famous restaurant in Agra. After lunch we will start with a small marble monument called Baby Taj, The Mughal story is not complete without the mention of NOORJEHAN She was the wife of King Jehangeer and was known to be a beautiful Persian lady who had a great penchant for beauty and style. This beautiful monument is in the shape of a jewelry box and was made in memory of her father Mirza Ghiyaas Beg.The evening is again reserved for the Tajmahal as you will see the setting sun against the backdrop of Tajmahal amidst a beautiful garden called Mehtab bagh. After breakfast we set off from the Agra city, en route Jaipur we will visit Fatehpur Sikri. This vast city came in existence in just 13 years (1584 AD) Mohammad Jalaluddin Akbar the Mughal emperor built beautiful palaces, mosque, and an entire city just around 40 km from the city of Taj. The entire city was carved out of red sandstone ? the local construction material. The palaces and the mosque are situated at the top of a small hill. The gate of the mosque and the shrine of Sufi saint Salim Chisti is huge ?perhaps one of the largest in India. After Fateh Pur Sikri we set off to Jaipur, we will also visit ABHANERI A stepped well which is in the midst of a semi-arid zone. The architecture is amazing. After arriving at Jaipur relax a while and later visit Birla temple for evening prayer(Arti). Overnight at hotel in Jaipur.
Early morning we set off for Amber Fort, this fort and palaces were built by the Rajput ruler of Jaipur Raja Man Singh.Over here you will get an opportunity to ride a caparisoned elephant. The decorated elephant will take you to the top of the hill on a serpentine path. The fort and palace are an excellent example of the Rajput style of architecture.Afterward, you will visit the city palace which is the royal abode of the present King. The royalty still resides on the campus, A section of the palace has been converted into a museum with excellent exhibits depicting the royal Rajput era. You will also visit an observatory built by Sawai Raja Jai Singh in 1728. Your guide will explain to you the working of various ancient equipment called as Yantras used to know planetary position etc. Later you will get an opportunity to click a selfie with Hawa Mahal the famous honeycomb designed fa?ade made to serve the royal women. Evening today will be reserved for Chokhi Dhaani an ethnic Rajasthani village theme resort where you will see many cultural aspects of Rajasthani rural life. You will be served a sumptuous dinner in Rajasthani style.
Today you will be checking out from your hotel and will drive all the way to Delhi and will board a flight to Varanasi. At the Varanasi airport, you will be received and greeted by our representative who will take you to your designated hotel. Evening today is for a sunset boat ride on river Ganges. The Ganges is the holiest of all the rivers in India and according to Hindu mythology, a dip in the holy river is supposed to rid you of all your accumulated sins. This evening you will be a spectator to the oil lamp ceremony called as evening Arti, the tinkering small lamps on the river Ganges paint a picture you will never forget in your lifetime.
Today you will rise early and will again go for a morning boat ride enroute watching the devotees taking a dip in river Ganges at Dashaswamedh ghat.After the boat ride and breakfast, you will go on a tour to the various small temples dotting the ghats of Varanasi, the narrow streets of Varanasi will present before you an amazing tale of a bygone era. After lunch, you will set for a half day tour to Sarnath. Sarnath is the place where Lord Buddha preached his first sermons, here a stupa was constructed by great king Ashoka(249BCE). You will also see some more stupas over here.
Today after check out you will be driven to the airport to take a flight to Delhi. If time permits you can catch on for some last minute shopping at Delhi Haat. Later in the evening, you board your flight back home.
