After breakfast take sightseeing tour of historic city visiting Old Delhi visiting the majestic Red Fort, a marvel in red sandstone, Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, both built by emperor Shah Jahan of Taj Mahal fame, Later sightseeing continues to visit New Delhi include Rashtrapati Bhawan, one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys; the India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war; the Laxmi Narayan Temple, built by the Birlas, one of India?s leading industrial families; Humayun?s Tomb, lotus shaped Bhai?s Temple, Qutub Minar, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty; Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

On arrival at railway station you will be transferred to your pre -booked hotel for refreshing yourselves with breakfast. Later this mid-afternoon we?ll arrive at banks of holy River Ganga, where we meet our boat crew. After a safety briefing from our sailing tour guide we set sail. Our boats are about five metres in length and around two metres wide; all are equipped with life jackets. Accompanying our boats is a separate boat carrying our cook and camp staff. ?Lunch on board. The sailing is enjoyable under the foothills of Vindhyachal Mountains. Further cruise on the Ganges where you will beautifully designed Ghats (Stepped embankments). This city ?is renowned for its famous carpet and brassware industry. In the late afternoon, usually after five or six hours sailing, we moor up along the bank and set up our overnight camp on the riverbank. Two-person tents, mattresses and blankets are provided and our tents plus a toilet tent are erected by our local staff before dinner is served on the riverbank.
After breakfast we continue sailing. The river turns sharply near the imposing Chunar fort which seems to rise vertically from the water. The sunrise and sun sets are spectacular. The impressive Chunar Fort dominates the Ganges and it has a very important chapter in the Indian history. ?Visit to a pottery and other crafts shops and a Hindu family is set on this day. After lunch visit to Chunar Fort, sailing continues and overnight at camp on sand bank of Ganges.
We start our final day sail with breakfast on the river bank then set sail for our last day on the river. ?We plan to stop on the way to local villages for experience local village life. In the late afternoon we start to see the first signs of the sprawl of Varanasi ahead of us, and we make landfall in the heart of old Varanasi at one of the famous ghats of River Ganga. ?On arrival on the banks of Varanasi our representative will drop you at the hotel.?
